We didn’t start NellieSoo to make more clothes.There are already so many in the world.
We started because of a small, quiet feeling—watching a child move, play, and grow, and wanting to make something that could stay with them a little longer.
When I first began sewing for my daughter,
it wasn’t about building a brand.
It was about fixing, adjusting, and making things work—
pants that she could pull up on her own,
fabrics that felt soft against her skin,
little details that made her feel comfortable and free.
Over time, those small adjustments became something more.
They became a way of caring.

Many of our pieces are made from vintage quilts
materials that were already loved once before.
We’re drawn to them not just for how they look,
but for what they carry.
Time.
Hands.
Memories we can’t fully trace, but can somehow feel.

We don’t believe children’s clothes should be disposable.
They should be worn, played in, passed down,
and remembered.
